Let's start this September with my empty products of this summer...
- Flexi Spray by OFFICINALIS (Hoof Care). Hoof spray for elasticity and gloss, an natural oil with extracts of Lavander and Tea Tree Oil. A good oil for hoof, I used with a basic hoof brush because the sprayer was low so it was easy with the brush. The sent is pleasent. I used 2 times per week this summer combined with the Absorbine Hooflex grease the 2 others times, this summer was really hot and dry for the Swann's hoof, they suffered a lot but this products help for the good health of them. Bottle of 250ml for 12€ approx. Rating: 8/10 (-2 because of the sprayer)
- Bremsen Stop by EQUINATURA (Leovet/Repellen spray). "Highly effective and lasts for several hours repellen. This biocide contains a very powerful repellent as well as essential oils of cedar, geranium and lemongrass that support its effect. Particularly well tolerated by the skin, it is recommended by the World Health Organization." This is a really, really good repellen spray, do this job on Swann ( she doesn't attract flies with her skin), the smell is not that bad, easy to use and the sprayer was good all the way. But unfortunately the bottle contain 500ml of products and it's easy to use a lot of products (Swann is a big horse), so the products do 1 month an half of job, but I recommand this one x100 to you if you can buy it. Bottle of 500ml for 8€ Rating: 9/10 (-1 because the duration of use is too short)
- NafOff Extra Effect by NAFF (Repellen spray). "Pink is in, Flies are out. 100% Natural." I bought this one the end of the Summer 2017 and I finish it this start of this Summer 2018, I love the pink color, the sent is nice, like vinegar, this products do this job well. Bottle of 750ml for 23€ Rating: 10/10
- Silky Mane & Tail by NAFF (detangler) "Deluxe conditioning spray refill for a smooth, shiny and tange-free mane and tail."
A good detangler but unfortunately I don't like this sent of Lavender, really, so I was happy to saw the end of the bottle - but the products do a great job with a really smooth mane and tail! Bottle 750ml for 18€ Rating: 7/10 (-3 because of the sent).
- Hoof Hardener / Hoof Lab by LEOVET (hoof care).
" Ideal for horses with chipped and brittle hooves, low heels, separating hoof walls, and for barefoot horses. Hoof wall and sole are strengthened. Secures a firm seat for the shoe. Protects against hoof decay and makes the hoof significantly more durable.
Effective without harmful chemical agents! Does not contain glutaraldehyde.
With integrated pump applicator!
Without petroleum jelly, mineral oil and parabens!" I bought the product this summer, the Swann's hoof was sooooo dry because of the heat, the hoof was chipped and brittle and I really needed to find THE products for treat them. The pump is good in the firsts applications with the little silicon brush but when I was at the 3/4 of the bottle the pump became malfunction so I finished to use with a hoof brush, it's the only bad point of this product. The result is Swann's hoof are really pretty and look in good health. I use it two times per week during around 2 months [July/August] Bottle of 250ml for 13€ Rating: 9/10 (-1 for the malfunction pump).
- Broncaresp by OFFICINALIS (supplement for the respiratory tract) "Broncaresp Eucalyptus is a nutritional supplement rich in officinal herbs with an immunostimulant action (echinacea, propolis) and expectorant (licorice) containing essential oils with antiseptic and broncho-dilatory properties (essential oil of pine, thyme, eucalyptus, rosemary ).
Broncaresp Eucalyptus helps soothe upper airway disorders and strengthen the horse's immune system." A good products I started to use this Spring for 4 weeks and I finished it this middle of Summer during 3 weeks (20ml/per day). The ingredients are well for respiratory system that's one of the reason I bough this product, and the fact that I like Officinalis products, but I like to try other brand soo ^^'
